20160921 Gospel Mt 9:9-13

As Jesus passed by, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the customs post. He said to him, “Follow me.” And he got up and followed him. While he was at table in his house, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat with Jesus and his disciples. The Pharisees saw this and said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” He heard this and said, “Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do. Go and learn the meaning of the words, I desire mercy, not sacrifice. I did not come to call the righteous but sinners.”

Repleksiyon:

Bisan isa ka makasasaya si Matthew kay tax collector man sija, tagpasunod sija ni Jesus para mahimo sija na isa sa mga disipulo Nija.

Uno man kaha’y hinkit’an ni Jesus kan Matthew na intawag man Nija sija sa paglaong na “follow me” na an buot ipasabot na himoon ta ‘kaw na disipulo?

Seguro, nabasa ni Jesus an kasing-kasing ni Matthew na bisan isa sija ka makasasaya, andam sija na mobalik kan God para manilbihan Dija pero dili ini nija mahimo kay lagi, tax collector man sija.

Amo man balitaw na an doktor dili kuno kinahanglan na mobisita sa mga baskog na mga tawo, laong pa ni Jesus, kondili, mabisita sija sa mga maysakit.

Sa ato pagka-makakasaya, andam ba ‘sab kita na mosunod sa tawag ni Jesus para mahimo kita na tagapag-sangyaw nan marajaw na balita parehas kan Matthew?
