20161129 Gospel Lk 10:21-24

Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike. Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will. All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him.”

Turning to the disciples in private he said, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. For I say to you, many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, but did not see it, and to hear what you hear, but did not hear it.”

Pamalandong:

Ugsa, kinahanglan hugot gajud permi an ato pagtuo na an ato kapasayluan, si Jesus ra gajud an makapadangat nan ini para dato.

20161128 Gospel Mt 8:5-11

When Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion approached him and appealed to him, saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, suffering dreadfully.” He said to him, “I will come and cure him.” The centurion said in reply, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof; only say the word and my servant will be healed. For I too am a man subject to authority,

with soldiers subject to me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come here,’ and he comes; and to my slave, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Amen, I say to you, in no one in Israel have I found such faith.
I say to you, many will come from the east and the west, and will recline with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the banquet in the Kingdom of heaven.”

Pamalandong:

20161123 Gospel Lk 21:12-19

Jesus said to the crowd: “They will seize and persecute you, they will hand you over to the synagogues and to prisons, and they will have you led before kings and governors because of my name. It will lead to your giving testimony. Remember, you are not to prepare your defense beforehand, for I myself shall give you a wisdom in speaking that all your adversaries will be powerless to resist or refute. You will even be handed over by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends, and they will put some of you to death. You will be hated by all because of my name, but not a hair on your head will be destroyed. By your perseverance you will secure your lives.”

Pamalandong:

20161122 Gospel Lk 21:5-11

While some people were speaking about how the temple was adorned with costly stones and votive offerings, Jesus said, “All that you see here–the days will come when there will not be left a stone upon another stone that will not be thrown down.”

Then they asked him, “Teacher, when will this happen? And what sign will there be when all these things are about to happen?” He answered, “See that you not be deceived, for many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ and ‘The time has come.’ Do not follow them! When you hear of wars and insurrections, do not be terrified; for such things must happen first, but it will not immediately be the end.” Then he said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be powerful earthquakes, famines, and plagues from place to place;
and awesome sights and mighty signs will come from the sky.”

Pamalandong:

20161121 Gospel Lk 21:1-4

When Jesus looked up he saw some wealthy people putting their offerings into the treasury and he noticed a poor widow putting in two small coins. He said, “I tell you truly, this poor widow put in more than all the rest; for those others have all made offerings from their surplus wealth, but she, from her poverty, has offered her whole livelihood.”

Pamalandong:

Kon mohatag kita nan amot, jiyesmos o halad para sa simbahan, kinahanglan kinasingkasing gajud sanan waya’y kapin-kabobut’on an ato paghimo nan ini para malipay si God sa ato aksiyon.

Dili kon kinasing-kasing an paghatag nan amot nan mga adunahan didto sa inka-obserbahan ni Jesus sa templo kay an ila kuno inhatag, mga sobra-sobra ra man kuno sa ila mga katigajunan.

Dili kon parehas nan paghatag nan bayo nan ija halad, tininuod sanan kinasing-kasing gajud kay an ija inhatag sa templo, inhurot man gajud nija an ija kita sa ija panginabuhi.

Ugsa na mangaliya gajud kita sa kahitas’an na hatagan kita ni God nan grasya na abri permi an ato kasing-kasing sa paghatag nan ato mga halad para Dija.

20161117 Gospel Lk 19:41-44

As Jesus drew near Jerusalem, he saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If this day you only knew what makes for peace–but now it is hidden from your eyes. For the days are coming upon you when your enemies will raise a palisade against you; they will encircle you and hem you in on all sides. They will smash you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave one stone upon another within you because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.”

Pamalandong:

20161116 Gospel Lk 19:11-28

While people were listening to Jesus speak, he proceeded to tell a parable because he was near Jerusalem and they thought that the Kingdom of God would appear there immediately. So he said, “A nobleman went off to a distant country to obtain the kingship for himself and then to return. He called ten of his servants and gave them ten gold coins and told them, ‘Engage in trade with these until I return.’ His fellow citizens, however, despised him and sent a delegation after him to announce, ‘We do not want this man to be our king.’ But when he returned after obtaining the kingship, he had the servants called, to whom he had given the money, to learn what they had gained by trading. The first came forward and said, ‘Sir, your gold coin has earned ten additional ones.’ He replied, ‘Well done, good servant! You have been faithful in this very small matter;take charge of ten cities.’ Then the second came and reported, ‘Your gold coin, sir, has earned five more.’ And to this servant too he said, ‘You, take charge of five cities.’ Then the other servant came and said, ‘Sir, here is your gold coin; I kept it stored away in a handkerchief, for I was afraid of you, because you are a demanding man; you take up what you did not lay down and you harvest what you did not plant.’ He said to him, ‘With your own words I shall condemn you, you wicked servant. You knew I was a demanding man, taking up what I did not lay down and harvesting what I did not plant; why did you not put my money in a bank? Then on my return I would have collected it with interest.’ And to those standing by he said, ‘Take the gold coin from him and give it to the servant who has ten.’ But they said to him, ‘Sir, he has ten gold coins.’ He replied, ‘I tell you, to everyone who has, more will be given, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. Now as for those enemies of mine who did not want me as their king, bring them here and slay them before me.’”

After he had said this, he proceeded on his journey up to Jerusalem.

Pamalandong:

20161115 Gospel Lk 19:1-10

Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through it. A man named Zaccheus lived there. He was a tax collector and a wealthy man. He wanted to see what Jesus was like, but he was a short man and could not see him because of the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed up a sycamore tree. From there he would be able to see Jesus, who was going to pass that way. When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zaccheus, come down quickly, for I must stay at your house today.” So Zaccheus climbed down and received him joyfully.

All the people who saw it began to grumble, and said, “He has gone as a guest to the house of a sinner.” But Zaccheus spoke to Jesus, “Half of what I own, Lord, I will give to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone, I will pay him back four times as much.” Looking at him Jesus said, “Salvation has come to this house today, for he is also a true son of Abraham. The Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost.”

Pamalandong:

Duha seguro an dayaganan nan ini na sitwasyon: kon dili kon excited ‘kaw, maembaraso ‘kaw!

Ma-embaraso o masipog ‘kaw kay nahibayo man an tanan tawo na makasasaya ‘kaw!

Dinhi sa Ebanghelyo, uno man na an makasasaya na chief tax collector man gajud an tag-single out ni Jesus na hatagan Nija nan onor na gamiton an ija panimayay para pahuwajan?

Kay kinahanglan man ni Zacchaeus an mapasayluon na gugma ni Lord na nagsresulta nan ija pagdesidir na ihatag nija an katunga nan ija kabtangan sa mga pobre sanan an katunga ‘sab, ipambajad sa ija mga inka-limbungan.

20161114 Gospel Lk 18:35-43

When Jesus drew near to Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road, begging. As he heard the crowd passing by, he inquired what was happening, and they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was going by. Then he cried out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” The people in front of him scolded him. “Be quiet!” they said, but he cried out all the more, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

Jesus stopped, and ordered the blind man to be brought to him; and when he came near, Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” And the man said, “Lord, that I may see!” Jesus said, “Receive your sight, your faith has saved you.” At once the blind man was able to see, and he followed Jesus, giving praise to God. And all the people who were there also praised God.

Repleksiyon:

Oportunidad na nan tawo na dili makakita na mangajo nan tabang kan Jesus para makakita na sija kay nahibayo man sija na waya gaju’y tawo na makahatag dija nan pagpakakita kay si God ra man gajud an makadajaw nan isa ka buta.

Dako gajud an kompiyansa nan ini na buta sa Messiah na madajaw gajud sija kay nahibayo man sija na nagbaton man nan Diyosnon na gahum ini’n si Jesus, bisan tag-sagda sija nan mga tawo na dili magbujong.

Nahibayo an buta na gamhanan si Jesus ugsa na an tawag nija kan Lord, Son of David sanan Messiah.

Waya’y imposible kan God.

Kon personal nato na makasugat si Jesus kuman, uno kaha an ato pangajoon Dija?
