Scripture: Luke 9:1-6
And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal. And he said to them, "Take nothing for your journey, no staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not have two tunics. And whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. And wherever they do not receive you, when you leave that town shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them." And they departed and went through the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.
Reflection
Kita tanan dinhi sa kalibutan taghatagan ni Lord nan gahum na magkapg-bag’o nan mga kinabuhi natô gikan sa pagka-dautan nadto sa pagka-maligdong.
An gahum na Ija taghatag datô dili man kon para maka-dajaw kita nan mga maysakit, makabugaw nan mga mayaot na espiritu, sanan maka-sulti nan parehas nan Ija mga pulong, kondili ini na gahum na atô taghup’tan amo ini an gahum na maka-kombinse kita sa atô isigkatawo na may God na nagmahal datô tanan.
Marajaw kay sa panahon nan mga disipulo ni Jesus, tagsangunan sila ni Nija nan gahum na makapan-dajaw sa mga maysakit, makabugaw nan mga maligno na nosangon sa tawo, sanan magsangyaw na mga pulong Nija.
Pero sa atô kapanahunan kuman, an atô lamang seguro mahimo para kan Lord na mahisangyaw ‘sab natô Ija mga pagtudlô sanan an Marajaw na Balita nan Kapasayloan para madawat natô an Ija mga gasa sanan grasya an kinahanglan natô sa adlaw-adlaw.
"Lord Jesus, make me a channel of your grace and healing love that others may find life and freedom in you. Free me from all other attachments that I may joyfully pursue the things of your heavenly kingdom. May I witness to others the joy of the Gospel both in word and deed."
